Melissa Kinsman, a.k.a., The Boss of Bronze, is the proud founder of EAST COAST GLO. She graduated #1 in her class from Christine Valmy International School of Esthetics in N.Y. in 2001. Melissa began spray tanning in 2003 and has completed over 50,000 tans during the course of 21 years, making her an undeniable EXPERT in spray tanning.
Her interests and skills include but are not limited to: Moon-shining, Weather Forecasting, Neuroscience, Paper Folding, Yacht Architecture, Head Honcho-ing and that thing where you catch catfish with your bare hands.
Okay, maybe that second paragraph was a little exaggerated but Melissa is really awesome at spray tanning.

MARGIE MCDERMOTT | Lead Spray Tan Artist
So, you think you haven't met someone that can be happy and bubbly ALL THE TIME?! Well then you haven't met East Coast Glo's resident Smiley Face, Margie!
Margie has been a licensed cosmetologist for over 18 years and also has a degree in criminal justice. She has been with East Coast Glo for over 9 years and under the guidance of Melissa, has become undoubtedly, a master of spray tanning.
She has a passion for dance, yoga, and is a Kickboxing QUEEN. (POW, POW!) Margie believes that if you love what you do, you'll never work a day in your life.
Margie says, "There is NOTHING more rewarding than making someone's day a little brighter by seeing them smile, and I get to do that everyday."

ALLISON JOHNSEN | Lead Lash, Brow, and Wax Artist
Meet Alli, our lash, brow, and wax artist! Allison has been in the beauty industry for 11 years as a licensed cosmetologist. Although hair color was her first love, Alli was always fascinated by the more esthetic side of beauty and 8 years ago, that fascination lead her to her peace in the form of lashing!
OH WAIT! We can’t forget her OBSESSION with waxing. Alli is the Brazilian Wax MASTER and has trained dozens of body waxing technicians across the state.
Aaannnnd that’s not all! Alli also does the best lash lifts EVER!
All of this is her SECOND full time job, her first, being a mama to three beautiful children! When people ask how she does it she replies, “A lot of coffee, a little bit of sleep, and a SMILE!”
Alli says, “My clients mean so much to me; they’re the reason I get to do exactly what I want to be doing everyday. I LOVE my profession.”

EVI MENDEZ | Spray Tan Artist
Evi has been a Nuda certified spray tan artist since 2018! She says “I love seeing the instant transformation and confidence boost that a spray tan brings to my clients!” 🙌🏼
Evi’s had us laughing since day one and she’ll have you laughing too!
When she’s not giving bomb spray tans, you can find Evi looking for her next adventure or on the beach, meditating 🧘🏼♀️ Guess what else?! She’s also a Reiki Master! 💆🏽♀️

HEATHER SAUER | Spray Tan Artist
Meet Heather, science teacher by day and spray tan artist by night! Heather has been spraying at East Coast Glo for over 7 years now but has worked with us for over 12 years! Heather says that she LOVES having conversations with her clients while making them feel beautiful at the same time.
Heather has been a teacher for over 9 years and has taught everything from elementary special ed to middle school science. She is so passionate about her work in the classroom and in the spray room and can’t imagine living her life without doing either of them!
She LOVES traveling to new (and old) places whenever she can! She loves coffee, pasta, and is kiiind of obsessed with seltzer.
